We are grateful for the dedication, leadership, and service of our Board of Education members who work tirelessly to support our students, staff, and community. Their commitment to strong schools and a bright future for every child in Grady County does not go unnoticed. Thank you for your vision, your time, and your heart for our schools.

Their dedication, passion for teaching, and commitment to the success of every student make a lasting impact in our schools each day. We congratulate each of them on this well-deserved honor and thank them for the difference they make in the lives of our students and our community.

In January, Dymond Barron was named the Jackie Robinson Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year, the premier youth recognition program of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. This prestigious honor recognizes outstanding leadership, service, and academic excellence.
This past week, Dymond traveled to Atlanta to compete in the Boys & Girls Club of Georgia Youth of the Year competition, where she was named a Top 6 finalist for the state of Georgia!
Cairo High School could not be more proud of you, Dymond! Your hard work, leadership, and commitment to excellence truly represent the best of the Syrupmaker Way!
