The Counseling Dept. passes out pizza and soda to Roll Out participants

On Friday, January 28, Cairo High School held the second nine weeks PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Student "Roll Out" for students who met the Syrupmaker PBIS criteria listed below:

  • M - Model Behavior
  • A - Accountable
  • K - Kind
  • E - Excellent Attendance
  • R - Responsible

To participate in the Roll Out, students had to have no failures on their report cards, no office discipline referrals, and no more than three unexcused absences for the second nine weeks.

Students received their Roll Out tickets during first block, and those without a first block teacher were able to get their tickets from the Counseling Department. The ticket dismissed students from lunch 10 minutes early (see release times below), where the PBIS team here at CHS then provided Dominos Pizza and a soft drink for the qualified students.

These PBIS "Roll Outs" have been organized every nine weeks since Fall of 2018 to reward students for their positive behavior. If a student didn't make the Roll Out this time, there is still a chance for them to make it for the next nine weeks.

If you did meet the requirements, keep up the good work!
