Since spring sports at CHS are up and active, Business and Communications teacher Mrs. Angela Bearden and her students are busy designing and making numerous CHS sports shirts for the Maker's Market store, including shirts for the soccer team, wrestling team, and tennis team.
Located online and Mrs. Bearden's room on the fifth wing, the Makers Market was established last spring for students to experience hands-on learning focusing on social entrepreneurship. Students who are in Mrs. Bearden's fourth block class get to help design and make Syrupmaker products such as signs, stickers, mugs, handbags, and t-shirts for the school and community.
