Cairo High School's aviation program is officially in the building phase, and the momentum is growing fast. Cadets are already competing with our Drone Team in NJROTC Area 10–sanctioned events, with the Area Championship coming up on February 28th.
We’ve launched an Aviation Club to spark interest in aviation careers and partnered with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to offer Dual Enrollment opportunities for our students. Cadets are gaining hands-on experience using Microsoft Flight Simulator and RealFlight Evolution, building real-world skills before ever leaving the ground.
Looking ahead, our fleet of radio-controlled aircraft will help teach safe and responsible flight operations as the program continues to grow.
From nothing to dual enrollment, simulators, drones, and RC aircraft — this program is moving quickly toward something special. Now it’s time for our Cadets to take advantage and soar.
